Writing for me is emotional and also cathartic. I have a love/hate relationship with the saying "if life gives you lemons make lemonade". Usually life throws in some rotten eggs with those lemons. I don't think lemonade would taste good with rotten eggs, do you? Example: Losing a friend over a difference of opinion.

It's painful and tears do not make a difference.  Remember that losing people in your life never gets easier.  But, I digress turn that pain into a scorching poem or short story. It is easy to dwell on the bad don't do it. That will stunt your writing growth. "Kristi I am hurt and it is not easy!" Trust me my fellow writers and friends I know this all to well. Just pick yourself up and dust yourself off and WRITE! Thank you to all who have purchased my book Fierce Tempo.
