Mountain Echoes

Mountain Echoes

The mountains echo the days of yesteryear.

Through the generations they have stood strong

like their people.

Weeping willow hanging low

Oak tree standing tall and strong

Dogwoods with their delicate petals.

What was that shake, miners blasting again.

Dew covers the mountain like a soft damp blanket.

Children's laughter listen to what they are saying,

ollie ollie ox and free, try and catch me.

Mountains life in every corner, sitting on the

porch drinking tea with grandmother.
